This year some of the most anticipated games are about to be released. Here is my personal Top 5 list for 2010 - enjoy !!!.

1. Startcraft 2

It was about time (hell yeaaa). Pure RTS from one of the biggest gaming company - Blizzard.
I hope to see the strategy abilities of starcraft 1 and the micro controls that made this game the best on its category (my opinion always).

2. Diablo III
Need to say anything else??? Anyone havent play any of the Diablo game series yet??? The game is an Action/Rpg combined with coop online multiplayer experience in a great package.

3.Tera Online.
I really want to see this mmorpg cause lately i dont know what to play. I want something diferrent than the existing ones. (Aion tryed to do something but anyway im disapointed. I will write another time about it.....). Well check out by yourshelves, a small Tera Online video :)

4. Kingdom Under Fire 2
I will come out for pc with multiplayer options witch made it a ''really wana play'' for me. Its an action/rpg/strategy game (yep all together). Anyway look the in game graphics, in the start i thought it was game video but then i realized its the games graphics.

5. Lost planed 2

I am a fun of 3rd person shooters and of coop gaming (nothing better than gather your mates and set up a coop and try finish it - oh and some cold beers too - and pizza after - damn next day need double the work out in the gym - i got out of subject - again!!!). Anyway heres a video.

Who is this hot lady?

This is Mona, Mona de Lafitte. This is one hot gothic chick. She is a talented opera singer and she dream to be recognized in Paris and live like a diva one day. Mona is a little naive and don/t really want to realize what she is. She is to "move forward" and see/s a opportune to leave, but how? Are you interested to help her get away from the castle she is stuck in?

A Vampires Story
This in my favorite adventure games. The creators of Cruise of monkey island succeeded again. Boron Shrowdy von Kiefer is Lord of the castle, he has a unusual obsession for Mona. So he keep her in the castle. But one day hes missing from the castle and Mona decides to escape. Along her side, she has her friend Froderick the bat. Wish is my favorite character in this game. He has a little of a dark humor and always end up arguing whit Mona. I like the fact that she dos not believe she´s a vampire and Froderick makes jokes about it. Barnon Shrowdy gives her a glass of blood everyday and Mona thinks its red wine. She refuses to realize shes doomed to a life of darkness.

What i like about this game is that its funny, you enjoy your self wile playing. The monologues are to die for, its like watching a episode of friends. Froderick is the show of this game. You cant escape his comments. He is a cocky bat whit a mouth full.

This game is very adventurous, (ofc its is, its a adventure game) even if the scenario is only in the castle and the village not long from there. But this is only part one of the game and soon enough A Vampire Story 2 will be out and i am going to experience the happiest day of my life :)

Mush joy pc games give us, its so hard to live without it. Do me a favor plz, don/t go through life without playing A Vampire Story

I am in good mood today and I decided to show, one of the best gaming gear by my favorite company (I am one of their best customers lol). Saitek Cyborg Gaming Gear.

The keyboards.
From all the keyboards they have I’ll show you the Cyborg V7 Gaming Keyboard which is the one I use right now. It has numerous abilities and I can write for long but here are the ones I like most.

1.It has good material build.
2.Have 4 colors (Red – Orange – Gold – Green) with many levels of brightness.

3.Unique and useful macro keys.
4.Uses Cyborg mode that disables the Windows® keys (Gamers favorite, how many times you lost a PVP because you pressed the damn button that, your game minimized).
5.Pass-through USB, audio and microphone sockets means no
more crawling behind your PC to change your USB device or audio configuration.
6.Multicolor option on keyboard (Yes you can set any color you
want specific keyboard parts like AWSD).

The mouse
From their mouse series I will focus on two Cyborg Laser Mouse and R.A.T 9.

No mouse ever had the design of Cyborg Laser Mouse (I use this one), it really looks like no other. And it makes a great set with Cyborg V7 Gaming Keyboard. This gaming piece have motorized extension (it actually changes sizes) , 3200 max dpi, 45 inches per sec max speed and ten programmable buttons. It also has a led with the same colors as the Cyborg V7 Gaming Keyboard (Red – Gold – Green).





R.A.T 9 Saitek’s latest toy ( I must have this one) - 5600dpi, Acceleration of 50G, 1ms response time.
And many futures as Wireless Receiver/Recharge Dock with 2 custom built lithium-ion battery cells, 3 palm rests, 3 pinkie grips, Custom Weight System, 5 Programmable Buttons, 3 Cyborg Modes and Lightweight Metal Chassis.

Old TBS - So good but first time you hear about it ??? - By Navar

Today i give you one of my favorites turn based strategy games that even didn't become so known to the public i personaly place it in one of the best of it's kind.

Disciples II
The game is a classical turn based strategy, witch means that the players play one after the other and this specific title came up from ''Strategy First''. In my opinion not many people know about this game (probably bad promotion because the game is a top on its category). I have to mention that the game have so far 3 expansions (sory if i forgot any) and each one brings up new campains, new futures and a unique storyline. Also Disciples 3 is already out in the market but i havent played it yet so ill focus in the one i have. About the expansions so far we have:

1. Disciples II: Guardians of the Light (you play the good)

2. Disciples II: Servants of the Dark (the bad)

3.. Disciples II: Rise of the Elves (the ugly??? - nah actually this one is my favorite expansion and also have playable the race of the elves )

The storyline is all about the game races and offers a different campain for each race.

The Empire
The Empire consists of medieval humans with Christian-like beliefs and holy powers granted by their deity. Knights, Mages, priests, paladins, and mythic creatures like angels and titans are the main units that combine their armys.With the Hightfather protecting humanity they march to war to defend the evil and save their lands.

The Undead Hordes
The Undead Hordes was an ancient race of magic-wielders that goddess Mortis slaughtered only to be raised and to become her undead army.

The Mountain Clans
Dwarfs and Giants,technology combined with pure strenght and endurance results to a powerfull army. The clans have god Wotan in their side to guide them and provide them with the power of ancient runic magic. (Also my favorite race - dwarfs and giants together :D )

The Legions of the Damned
This race is the aparted by demons, dark spawns and devil-worshiping humans who wish to release their dark god from his captivity, and destroy all that is good.

The Elven Alliance
The power of nature, their fairy like army is all about good mythic creatures, like elves centaurs, gryphons that swore loyalty and flolow the Elven Queen Illumielle.

Disciples II got some strong parts as a game witch they make the gamer stuck in front of the pc. There was many times i told myshelf that ill just take a look on the next campain map and sited for hours untill i finish it. The graphics looks like hand made and got many details ( i like char designs - havent seen something like that), the battle animations are few but enought by my opinion, and comparing to other games of its category it has a unique thingy i liked its about the terain that your race is conquering. For example if you play undead all the terain you own covered my corupted land or if you control mountain clans all the terain you own is covered by snow.

The multiplayer options are great, it gives the choices of many players in one pc or from many, depends what you have and prefer. And there is a variaety of maps to choose or download so you dont play same ones again.

In the end as i fortold this game worths a try for the funs of turn based strategy games and is lot of fun to play with friends, coop or in oposite sides :) .

Other Peoples Life´s - By Yoanna

If you are a person that loves to interfere whit other peoples life and problems.

Here i present you the best solution for "sticking your nose in other peoples problems"

The Sims. By playing sims you start by making your sim (character/s), dress it up, move it in a house and play the game like it is a real life. Make food when starving, go to the WC when nature calls, take a shower when your stinky, and socialize when your lonely. Its that simple to start. As you take your sim through life you'll get promotion at a job, fall in love, wedding, make a family and so on. Its completely up to you Perfect game for kids in any age, and ofc your girlfriends in any age xD The Sims is one of my absolutely all time favorite games. And there is a lot of different expansion packs out. My favorite is The sims Vacation..

The Sims 2 When Sims 2 came out in the stores it went straight up in the top 10 list for a few years. Its worth it, all the way! The second Sims offers you mush better graphic, lifetime wishes, family tree and a mush more things to do. Not just the same old "move in and play the same thing". There is more options, and every sim has different personality, and everyone looks different from one another (Just like irl.) You may think that The Sims 2 is more realistic then Sims 1, then i think you should install the game and see for your self. There is a number of expansion out, were you can meet aliens, wear wolfs, vampires and other fairytale characters. You can even become one!! Wouldn't it be great if it was real? At least in my opinion Hahahahaha. What i like
most in this game is the creation of you character. There is so many option for your Sims looks and personality. You can design it exactly as you want. And even make it look just like you.

The Sims 3 that is also on the top 10 list right now, I will make a full review another time.

In the end i just want to say that The Sims is a real life simulation game that many people loved and spend really many hours whit it.. Like me :D

Runaway: A Road Adventure

While Adventure games are not in their best moments (mmorpg/action/fps/rts rule the market - not that the adv games don’t have new titles). Anyway Pendulo Studios bring 's up this series, that made a difference for me, it was about time to find something interesting and actually fun to play. It has 3 episodes with continuing scenarios and here is the first.

The game it’s actually like a cartoon series that you control the characters and makes the gamer to get easily lost inside the plot. Many times you’ll find yourselves laugh and enjoy the dialogs among the characters, with the only exception that museum specialist.

........that voice........I couldn’t stand it........seriously.....it reminded me a bit of Janice.......from friends TV series (Am I the only one????).

The adventure games in general have two strong parts as games. First the scenarios and second the graphics.

About the graphics: A sneak peak is better than me explaining :)

About the scenario:
New York, you start with Brian, a college student; he got his application accepted for doing his doctoral studies near the physics best’s in city of California. Brian’s life dream is about to come true.

Starting we find Brian preparing for a road trip to California and he decides to leave at night so he gathers his staff and goodbyes, mom, dad, sister, dog (good he didn’t have a big family) and before he gets out of town he thinks of picking up a book from a 24/7 open bookstore. But his plan is about to change.

Heading to that bookstore poor Brian (really?????) gets involved in an accident…… a woman (Gina) falls in front of his car and you see Brian saying that she is unconscious and that he’ll take her to the hospital. In that point your game start’s, how a quiet everyday guy can get involved with a beautiful mysterious woman - dangerous criminals – mafia organization – wild ancient secret hunts – crazy personalities and in general one of the most wild road trip adventures???

Well it’s all on you to play and find out……

We need a Hero!!! - By Navar

This year from the makers of Mass Effect , Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, and Baldur's Gate comes an epic tale of violence, lust, and betrayal.

Bioware’s Dragon Age: Origins.

Game presents an epic world, full of action in every moment, with the classic races of this game type Humans, Dwarves, Elf’s. Every race having different starting position and the scenario is depending on what character background you have chosen (dwarf noble for me). The storyline is like a movie (I won’t tell you about the script - :D find out by yourselves), you just can’t stop to want more.

Giving a try to Dragon Age it got me back to the time I was first playing Baldur Gate (remember the feeling????). The game actually drags you into its own world, especially if you’re a fan of this type (well you can be a fan after this). The classes here are the common ones, warrior, mage, archer, thief, and healer. In this point the character build makes a difference in what we have seen so far, I found it simple, nicely balanced (no char gets too overpowered) but a bit limited.

In the start of the game you’re given the control of your main character only, while you proceed in the scenario thought, a small army starting to be created, finally games puts a limit at the use of 4 heroes at the same time ( I liked this one, too many heroes too big loss of gameplay for me). Many times I just used only my main character or only two characters to make full quests. (There’s a thingy about boxes so you’ll need a thief all the time with you, unless you play one)

The games combat system (along with its scenario) it’s for me the strongest part, the fight scenes, brings images of ancient battles (2h hammer up and down on enemy heads helps the imagination), the character animations and moves give the feeling of the action to the gamer. Also noticeable are the finishing moves, when you take down an enemy sometimes the character makes a finishing move. Especially when it comes to a boss that gave you hard time and then you finish him that way!!! (first time I was up from my chair shouting).


So far the game has already the first expansion (I think more than one will come in near future – well see).
Dragon Age: Awakening, the expansion gives to the game more lifetime and more choices. I also noticed something that they made a browser game and it’s good for its category so anyone that wants just click and play http://www.dragonagejourneys.com/

In general I like really much Dragon Age and the only thing I found missing is the Multiplayer option (I really wanted to play Dragon Age with 1-2 friends co op). Other than that the game is a going on the ‘’Must Have List’’, so go watch Conan, Lord of the rings, Braveheart and any other epic film, get in the epic mood, and you're ready for the game.

To MOBA or Not to MOBA - By Navar

MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games became very popular lately because they combine some of the best ingredients for making a good gamers choice. Here some of the reasons that those games got loved by the gamers:

1. You can play LAN and via Internet
2. Team vs team (gather you friends make your team and give

others a good beating)

3. Fast Gaming
4. Fast PVP experience
5. Easy to master (since heroes in all MOBA are easy to control and to use)
6. Huge combination of Heroes and skills (u can’t get bored of them easily)
7. Very competitive (many tournaments, many prizes and lot of publicity)

First MOBA if not mistaken was Dota (Defense of the ancients), a map of warcraft 3 game that in my opinion became more famous and more played than the original game ( a map vs a game lol). Now many titles go around after the days of Dota and here are the latest’s.


1. Demigod
The game has one of the best graphics we have seen lately, the maps are making a difference here, not only with their outstanding graphics but with the variety they offer too. Next we got REALLY interesting heroes, and nice hero backgrounds, the game makes a difference in the hero development because it gives more than 1 path of skills to choose. That way you can have many different builds based on skills and items. The disadvantages of this game towards the rest MOBAS is the slower gaming and the few hero selection. ( you get bored easy if you don’t got many heroes to play). The game by my opinion worth’s a try by every gamer cause it has new things to offer.



2. League of Legends
This game came up combining new ideas on an old good tested game way. I will start with the graphics which are different from the rest of the MOBA and look a lot cartoonish but in a nicely way. Its obvious that the game is user friendly from the graphics to the menus, even on the in game choices (can the item builds be more organized and easy???) . League of legends has a new scenario about the heroes and everything around them. You take the part of a summoner that summons a champion inside the arena so the game got actually 2 skill builds, one for the summoner and one for the champion that you will choose inside the game. This way no champion will be the same inside the arena. Also the game is total free (YEAAAA) and every week specific champions are opened to be available for choice. The gamers can unlock any champion they want by using points they earned from wined matches or they can just buy them. The game so far have 2 maps available, one for 5 vs 5 (dota like map) and one for 3 vs 3 (new map) and more will come in future as things show so far. In the end League of Legends as total view has all a gamer wants.
The combination of many heroes – skins – skills – choices. The gives a great result that definitely puts the game into the ‘’must have list’’.



3. Heroes of Newerth
The MOBA with the guaranteed success. It’s actually Dota itself with changes that make the game better. I won’t explain all the game structure I will only focus on the changes:

1. The graphics (no words lads, you have to see that for yourselves, it’s like surprise)
2. Good menus - easy to guide through.
3. They worked on the leavers’ thingy cause it was the worst part of Dota
4. Old Heroes with great new appearance (Lion -Witch Slayer = respect) and new heroes that can compete the old ones (Deadwood FTW)
5. Sound and effects really put you inside the game (it’s like a battle when you fight and spam the skills)
In total the game is an old tested recipe in a shiny new box. Its great the feeling of playing this game, picking your old favorite heroes with the new appearance and skills. For all the Dota funs – you got to play the game, for the rest good luck by trying. (Did I mention that game is a hell for new users?????)

That’s the new MOBA games so far, I hope I didn’t forget anything (I’m sure I did), as for the gamers - gather your friends master your heroes, create the best champion combination and go for the fight and the fun.

To remember the old and for the new to learn !!! - By Navar

Oki this is my first post and ill start by talking a bit about the oldies :)

Who can forget the feeling that everybody had the first time he played a game in an old pc?? Yes I am talking about those ones with the yellow – green screens and the tapes – later replaced by 5.25 disks. (Remember some??? Atari – commodore – Amiga)

We was playing games with dots and boxes and we was like’’ WOW this is awesome’’

I remember the excitement of holding the first game box in my hands and the anticipation of see the manual and everything inside. The savings we had to do to buy one (insane expensive at that time).

How was for everyone the first feeling of satisfaction that had when he had just finished his first adventure game?? Some of us even had to co op to solve them. Here’s few of the first I had (Maniac mansion – Loom – leisure lary 1 – kings quest 1 and of course some TEXT ADVS).
By the way anyone have ever played Ancient art of War???? :D

I remember we were gathering to a kids place that he had a computer, so we watch the games and hoping he’ll let us play :D . (After a while I had my pc so I was among the privileged ones lol).

Continuing about the oldies, the game categories was different back then after gaming industry got to work, we had the Arcades, Beat em up , Shoot em up, Adventures, Simulations, Puzzles (soz if I forgot any).

And later we had the first RTS coming up (Dune - warcraft), the first doom clones (Wolfenstein) which they wasn’t named fps back then - there was a full generation of games named after the game doom. Also the first Rpgs (don’t remember much of the old ones but i just thinked of Eye of the Beholder and Ravenloft all the sudden - scary ones for the time).

Anyway i can write for ever to cover the whole era so ill stop it here and i hope that others will share their own experience about the oldies and the gaming. So feel free to remind us more of the Old Good Times.
